BRAC is hiring Programme and Enterprise Communications Intern 2020 in Dhaka.

The intern will support the Programme Communications team with coordination, written content, documentation and paperwork, curation images, storage and usage.

Duration: 3 months

Working hours: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm (Sunday – Thursday)

Intern’s responsibilities:

  • Writing and/or editing blogs, reports, captions for social media, and other written
    documentation
  • Assisting in events and strategies
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Knowledge management (storing and organizing files in Google Drive)
  • Creating draft designs, presenting decks and emails
  • Translating and transcribing

BRAC is an international development organization based in Bangladesh. In order to receive foreign donations, BRAC was subsequently registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh.

Eligibilities

a) Educational background

  • Level: Enrolled in 3rd/4th Year or Bachelor’s degree
  • Subject: Communication and Media studies / English / Economics or any relevant
    subjects from any reputed University.

b) Language Proficiency

Bangla

  • Spoken: Fluent
  • Written: Good

English

  • Spoken: Fluent
  • Written: Advanced

c) Knowledge/skills/competencies

  • Proficient in using Google Suite
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator
  • IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

d) Work/Volunteering Experience:

  • Experience of volunteering in national/international organizations or university clubs would be an advantage.
