Chittagong University Model United Nations Association is very delighted to welcome the world to the sixth edition of its signature event – Chittagong University Model United Nations 2020. After leaving five prominent marks with the successful completion of CUMUN 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 they are again to host 4 spectacular days full of debate, diplomacy, and negotiation.
With the rising tensions of climate change and the catastrophic condition of the global environment, the universal concern has increased and faced various pernicious outcomes every day. Bearing these in mind, they’ve set our theme to be “Involving youth to Rejuvenate the Global Response on Combating Climate Change” to make the youth contemplate about the rising crisis and to kindle the hope that they hold the power to resolve them with their futuristic vision.

This year, they’re ready to welcome 400+ brilliant youths to participate in 10 academically diverse committees where they’ll be expecting the delegates to delve into debates about issues ranging from Indigenous Rights to Arctic Issues and many more. Furthermore, they aim to make their magnificent green campus the ultimate destination for youths to challenge themselves and discuss policies through the simulation of Model UN.
