Scholastica Science Club presents Scholastica Interschool Science Carnival 2020 in Dhaka.

Scholastica Science Club is pleased to announce “Scholastica Interschool Science Carnival 2020 in Dhaka”. This year-round, alongside the traditional competitions, they have decided to introduce some new ones to our event roster.

There will be three groups in this event.
Junior (Class V-VII)
Intermediate (Class VIII-X)
Senior (Class XI-XII)

Competitions:
1. Project Display
2. Intermediate and Senior Olympiads:
i) Physics
ii) Chemistry
iii) Biology
iv) Robotics
v) Space and Astronomy
vi) Ciphermania
4. Mega Quiz
5. Treasure Hunt
6. Junior Olympiads:
i) Solve It
ii) IQ Test
iii) General Science Quiz

PROJECT DISPLAY:
There will be three groups in this competition.
Junior (Class V-VII)
Intermediate (Class VIII-X)
Senior (Class XI-XII)

NOTE: All students considering projects involving pathogenic agents, controlled substances, recombinant DNA, human or animal tissue, hazardous substances or chemicals, must receive approval from their science teacher AND the organizers of SISC 2020.

OLYMPIADS AND CIPHERMANIA:
There will be two categories for this event:
Intermediate (Class VIII-X)
Senior (Class XI-XII)

IQ TEST:
ONLY participants from the junior category (Class V-VII) can participate in this competition.

GENERAL SCIENCE QUIZ:
ONLY the Junior category (class- V-VII) can participate in this competition.

SOLVE IT:
Rules:
a) It will be 40 minutes long.
b) Cell phones must be switched off during the quiz.
c) Participants must bring their own equipment.
d) Participants must bring their ID cards.
e) No calculators are allowed.
f) In scenario two individuals have the same mark, we will be ranking the person that:
i) Took less time OR
ii) Attempted the later questions
to finish over the other.
g) Answer papers will be provided by the organizers before the quiz begins.

MEGA QUIZ:
There will be two categories for this event:
Intermediate (VIII-X)
Senior (XI-XII)

TREASURE HUNT:

Junior (V-VII)
