MELBU Presents Future Founders League – Business Idea Competition 2020.
“There is only one thing stronger than all the armies in the world: and that is an Idea whose time has come.” — Victor Hugo
The dynamics of the world is changing faster than ever. Technology is taking over traditional jobs and income inequality is more visible than ever. People are now overworked and underpaid. Such drastic shifts in our ever-changing economy led entrepreneurship to grow strongly in the present time. Yet, the basic concept of the business alone won’t spur success in today’s turbulent and competitive market. Creativity, innovation, and out-of-the-box approaches are the key factors to gain success in today’s business arena. So, let’s say if anyone has an absolutely ‘CRAZY’ idea, chances of being closer to success is very much higher than it was several decades ago.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the project More Entrepreneurial Life at Bangladeshi Universities (MELBU) is a transnational cooperation project, based on multilateral partnerships between eight HEIs from Bangladesh, Germany, and Poland.
MELBU comes with its first flagship event ‘Future Founders League’, a business idea competition dedicated to six partner universities under the MELBU platform. This initiative by MELBU aspires to prepare participants for the national & international market in terms of business innovation and creativity by engaging them with experts and appraising them through an exciting competition.
Under this initiative, participating teams have to generate an innovative business idea with proof of concept and feasibility which can generate substantial profit, stimulate employment, and actively circulate the nation’s economy. Throughout the competition, participants need to generate an impactful business idea and design it with effective and efficient planning. With a view to foster ideas from any sector, MELBU has decided not to confine the competition under any theme rather inspire innovative ideas from any sector.
