Eco Network presents “World Climate Summit ” 2021.

Hello, all the Eco-Enthusiasts! Your wait is over. Eco-network is announcing its Mega Event of the year, “World Climate Summit 2021” that is going to be held on 24th & 25th September, 2021 instant.

Eco-Network is offering you the most exciting contests to participate in and win & achieve international certificates. You are having a unique opportunity to meet globally-recognized climate activists from 24 countries as our guests and talk to them directly. High-profile speakers will be there who will deliver their insightful speech, and reverend judges will judge the contests over.

For the second time, Eco network has organized the World Climate Summit 2021 which will be entirely online for anyone and everyone to participate and join because lockdowns cannot stop us from raising awareness for environmental sustainability!

Eco-Network is a global youth-led platform where anyone can work for environmental sustainability. The main focus of this organization is to share knowledge about climate change, global warming & specific SDGs. Eco-Network has a reputation for arranging various campaigns and events to raise awareness regarding environmental sustainability.

Zoom Conference-Summit, which will be telecast through Facebook live-streaming.

Contests to Confront:

You are getting five contests overall to show your talent and get judged by the truly-qualified national & international judges and get international certificates.

Theme: Climate Education for All / Climate Advocacy

Part A:
Contest-1: Letter to Mankind.
Contest-2: Awareness Poster.
Contest-3: Scientific Poster Presentation.
Contest-4: Article Writing.
Contest-5: Photography Contest.

Part B: Child Segment (Below age 13)

Contests’ Description & Rules of Participation:

Part A:
Contest-1: Letter to Mankind.(English Compulsory)
A participant can make interesting & meaningful letter according to the theme: Climate Action / Environmental Issues and submit them in the google-form. A single participant can submit a maximum of one letter, and each letter must have a word limit of 1000. Best ten letters will be awarded with winning certificates. Those will also be used afterwards as taglines in Eco-Network’s associated events that will be published or telecast from our Facebook & Instagram page, You-tube channel and other broadcasting media.
Please upload your work in document format file. Rename the file name like this:
AUTHOR NAME_SUBMISSION DATE

Contest-2: Awareness Poster.
Participants have to make Awareness Poster regarding climate education, environmental pollution, global warming & climate change, food waste. The prime concern here is to give a solid message to the cosmopolitans on how to be a climate-neutral person and how to work actively on keeping environmental sustainability.
Please note you can only upload one file. Top 10 poster will be awarded with winning certificate.
Please rename your file like this: YOURNAME_TITLE OF YOUR POSTER_SUBMISSIONDATE.

Contest-3: Scientific Poster Presentation
Maximum 2 participants will be allowed to present a poster. Any topic related to environment/climate change is considered as relevant here. Poster size- 16:9. A participant can use any software as he/she likes.
Please note you can be author in just one poster for presentation. Upload the file renaming it like AUTHOR NAME_SECOND AUTHOR NAME(if any)_POSTER TITLE_SUBMISSION DATE. The final file should be in .jpg format.

Contest-4: Article Writing (English Mandatory)
This contest is categorized into 3 groups.
Group 1: Postgraduate level + Working Professionals
Group 2: Undergraduate level
Group 3: College & School (only for class 9 & 10)

Submission Rule:
For group 1:
Author have to write a minimum of 1000 words and a maximum of 1500 words. Whole article will have to be in justified alignment. Maximum of two pictures can be added if necessary. A minimum of 5 references should be added in the article. No type of copywriting is allowed. Typeface should be ‘Times New Roman’ and font size will be 12. Title should be in 14 font size.

For group 2:
Author have to write a minimum of 700 words and a maximum of 1000 words. Whole article will have to be in justified alignment. Maximum of one picture can be added if necessary. A minimum of 3 references should be added in the article. No type of copywriting is allowed. Typeface should be ‘Times New Roman’ and font size will be 12. Title should be in 14 font size.

For group 3:
Author have to write a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 750 words. Whole article will have to be in justified alignment. No type of copywriting is allowed. Maximum of one picture can be added if necessary. Typeface should be ‘Times New Roman’ and font size will be 12. Title should be in 14 font size.
Submit you work in document file format. A contestant can only upload only one article.
Rename it like the following:
GROUPNO_AUTHOR NAME_SUBMISSION DATE
For example: G2_Amit Hasan Fahim_2 September 2021.docx
Top 10 author will get winner certificate and have their article featured on Eco-network journal. Anything related to climate change/environmental issue can be considered as the topic of your writing.

Contest-5: Photography
This contest is divided into two categories.
Category 1: Mobile Photography
Category 2: Digital Photography
This is an open contest with any theme related to nature & environment. Top 50 photographs will be selected after primary-screening.
Author have to submit their photos based on their categories. Please submit your photo renaming it like the following:
CATEGORYNAME_AUTHOR NAME_CAPTION_SUBMISSION NO_DATE
If you submit more than one photo, rename it respectively.
Example:

An author can upload a maximum of 3 photos combined of two categories. Top 10 photos will get winner certificate.

A participant can make interesting & meaningful drawing according to the theme: Climate Action / Environmental Issues and submit in the google-form. A single participant can submit a maximum of one drawing. Best ten will be awarded with winning certificates and nominated as Climate-Hero on this young age. Those will also be used afterwards as taglines in Eco-Network’s associated events that will be published or telecast from our Facebook & Instagram page, You-tube channel and other broadcasting media.
Please upload your work in document after taking snap and make that a pdf format file. Rename the file name like this:

A participant can recite interesting & meaningful poem and make it a video according to the poem which is already uploaded on the drive link and submit them in the google-form. A single participant can submit a maximum of one poem reciting video form these.
