The NASA Pathways Intern Program provides students with the opportunity to explore NASA careers and gain meaningful developmental work experience. The Goddard Space Flight Center Pathways Intern Program uses a cooperative education model, which is a work/study program in which you can gain valuable work experience that relates to your chosen field of study while completing your degree requirements. In our program, you will be offered one of two types of school/work schedules, depending on the need of the hiring organization. The traditional cooperative education model consists of alternating between terms at school and a paid, full-time Pathways intern position. The non-traditional model combines work and school on a year round basis.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen;
  • Be at least 16 years of age at the time of appointment;
  • Be enrolled (or accepted for enrollment) in an accredited educational institution;
  • Be enrolled at least half-time as defined by your educational institution; and
  • Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.90 (on a 4.00 scale).

You will receive salary between the range of $31,069.00 to $63,722.00 depending on your qualification.
