The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies invites applications for the visiting fellowships from individuals who are intended to encourage interaction among academics from different traditions of learning. The university promotes excellence in the study of Islam and Muslim societies.
The Fellowships will begin from 1 October 2015 for up to nine months. A stipend of £4000 will be given to each visitor including other facilities like shared office accommodation, and membership of the Common Room.

- Student applying for the fellowship must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidate must be studying arts, humanities and social sciences.
- Preference will be given to those studying classical Islamic sciences particularly anthropology, economics, geography, history, international relations, law, literature, philosophy, politics, religion, and sociology.
