The WYA Asia Pacific Summer Camp is an exciting program that provides an enjoyable and active environment for young people to learn about the concept of human dignity and its importance to development.

This year, the WYA Asia Pacific Summer Camp will be held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines from May 12-16, 2015. The venue is the beautiful and newly-opened Aziza Paradise Hotel. The summer camp is open to all applicants within the ages of 15 – 25 years old. We highly encourage high school students, university students, and recent graduates to apply.

We offer our camp participants an excellent opportunity to:

  • Gain the knowledge and ability to communicate articulately the idea of human dignity through our Certified Training Program.
  • Expand their horizon and develop their leadership and social skills through our various group activities.
    Have the chance to interact with other young people and meet new friends.
  • Open up other opportunities to participate in WYA’s other regional and international events.

The program will include discussions on:

  • Dignity and Human Rights
  • Placing the Person in the Center of Development
  • Advocacy Issues
  • WYA’s Voice in the International Arena
  • How to Become Champions of Human Dignity

How to Apply as Participant:

  • Read and agree to the World Youth Alliance Charter by signing here.
  • Fill-out the application form and send it to [email protected]. Use “Participant_[Family Name]” as Subject Head.
  • All applications must be submitted before March 31, 2015. Accepted campers will be notified through email.
  • If you have been accepted to the program, you may formally register and finalize your participation by paying the camp fee on or before April 15, 2015. Bank details will be included in the official acceptance letter. You have two payment options:
  1. You may pay in cash at our office in 303 Xanland Place, 323 Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City, Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  2. You may deposit the payment directly to our Banco De Oro Peso and Dollar Accounts. Bank details are included in the official letter.

How to Apply as Facilitator:

  • Only Track A Accredited members may apply as facilitators.
  • Contact the RD or RDO to express your intent to apply as a facilitator. Fill-out the application form that will be sent to you and send it back to [email protected]. Use “Facilitator_[Family Name]” as Subject Head.
  • All applications must be submitted before March 31, 2015. Accepted facilitators will be notified through email. Only ten will be chosen.
  • If you have been accepted to the program, you may formally register and finalize your participation by paying the fee on or before April 15, 2015. Bank details will be included in the official acceptance letter. You have two payment options:
