Deadline: February 14, 2016 | Views: 100

Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Type: Partially Funded.

The European Public Policy Conference (EPPC) has taken place in various cities throughout Europe annually since 2008. This student-run conference presents a unique platform for future policy makers to engage with political leaders, experts, and academics in the field by addressing key contemporary challenges facing Europe.

Eligibility:

Organizers are looking for applications to be Workshop Leaders and for submissions of papers, the best of which will be presented at the conference.

  • Workshops leaders or groups of leaders: This role is open for individuals or groups wishing to conduct a workshop. Workshop leaders are asked to propose the topic and format of the workshop, with the proposals fitting into our overall theme of policy directions for the EU. Workshops are intended to be interactive with participants and to generate discussion. Contributions can be submitted individually or in groups of up to four people.
  • Paper presenters: This role is open for everyone wishing to make a short presentation of his or her ideas in a more traditional conference style, without the intention of entering into in-depth discussions with the audience.

Benefits:

  • Attendees of the conference will have the chance to network with current public policy professionals from across Europe, as well as with students of public policy who represent the leaders of tomorrow.
  • There is a possibility of workshop leaders being funded for travel expenses; currently we do not plan on funding paper submitters.
